June 28, 2018 – Grow Ashland hosted a groundbreaking and reception to celebrate Pioneer’s 12,000 sq ft warehouse addition to its current facility, and as Mayor Miller adequately pointed out, the opening day for Ashland’s Balloonfest was the perfect way to celebrate Pioneer National Latex’s expansion. The 79-year staple in Ashland is the world’s largest balloon producer in the world and has over 100 full-time employees. The employees were joined by city, county and state officials and served apple desserts from Mitchell’s Food Truck during the ceremony.
